About the Role:

As a Software Engineer – UI, you will design and develop elegant, high-quality, and responsive user interfaces for Harness’s cutting-edge products. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to build reusable components, create modern data visualizations, and ensure top-notch user experiences. The role values developers who thrive in challenging environments, can iterate quickly, and maintain exceptional code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver features on time with excellent design, architecture, and code quality.
• Develop reusable UI components with intuitive APIs.
• Create responsive, performant, and advanced data visualizations.
• Stay updated with new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests.
• Contribute to open-source projects where applicable.
• Collaborate effectively across geographically distributed teams.

Key Technical Skills:

UI Development, TypeScript, Angular (or React/Vue), RxJS, D3.js, GraphQL, SPA Development, Data Visualization, UX Principles, Unit Testing, End-to-End Testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience building SPAs using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of user experience and customer-focused design.

Preferred

• Experience in Angular.
• Modern data visualization skills (D3.js or similar).
• UX design skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
